“Samara Region Development Corporation” OJSC took part in International forum “Development of the airports in Russia and CIS”

Head of department of transport and logistics infrastructure of “Samara Region Development Corporation” OJSC Andrey Novikov took part in the Second annual international forum “Development of the airports in Russia and CIS” that took place on March 27-29, 2012 in Moscow. Organizer of the event is Adam Smith Institute.

During the Forum, leading Russian and international experts as well as heads of Russian airports and aviation enterprises discussed relevant issues of aviation and airport industry of Russia and CIS. Specific attention was given to the issues of regional airports development, cargo air transportation as well as to the most efficient innovation strategies of airport operation and opportunities for private investors.

During the Forum, Andrey Novikov made a report on successful attraction of non-budgetary investments to the development of Kurumoch International Airport. He also elaborated on preparation work on the project, organization and conducting of investor selection procedure, obligations of the parties of investment agreement as well as on planned investment program of Kurumoch International Airport. Specific attention was given in report to courses of improving federal and regional law in the field of investment activity as well as to ways of attraction private investments to the implementation of infrastructure projects.
