Project “Kurumoch” implemented by the Corporation is a good example of successful PPP

Representatives of Samara Region Development Corporation (deputy General Director – Goryachev Sergey Alekseevich, head of corporate financing department - Kolosov Roman Olegovich, Chief specialist of legal department – Kirsanov Ilya Vladimirovich) took part in All-Russian forum “Land. Real estate” which was held upon initiative of the Ministry of Property Relations of the Samara region in association with the Ministry of economic development, investments and trade of the Samara region and the Government of the Samara region on February 26-27, 2013.
On February 27, during the round table “Special aspects of regulation of certain types of land and property relation” some issues including utilization of instruments of private public partnership were discussed.
Project of large-scale reconstruction of Kurumoch International Airport implemented by Samara Region Development Corporation was mentioned by Manager of Povolzhye Directorate of legal firm “VEGAS LEX” Aleksandr Vladimirovich Vyazikov as a successful example of implementation of regional project based on principles of private public partnership.

During the board meeting of the Corporation held on February 9, 2013 , the Governor of the Samara region pointed out that the main directions of Corporation activity shall be determined with consideration of relevant strategic tasks of the region in the medium and long term; in the meantime, implementation of large-scale investment projects in the field of agro-industrial complex and high technologies in the Samara region remains the main task of the Corporation.
Board of directors of the Corporation defined new top-priority investment projects of the Corporation, particularly, establishing of dairy farm with population of milking herd about 4800 cows and construction of dairy plant. Besides that, the Board of directors approved the following principal directions of Corporation’s activity: construction of complex for industrial cultivation and processing of champignons, establishing of production of magnetically operated switches and other electromechanical systems (MEMS), diode laser modules and laser machining systems. Currently the Corporation continues to implement the project on reconstruction of Kurumoch International Airport and the project on construction of poultry complex in Sergievsky district of the Samara region.
