“Samara Region Development Corporation” OJSC took part in presentation of economic and investment potential of the Samara region

Presentation of economic and investment potential of the Samara region took place on December 13, 2012 in Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Head of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation C.N. Katyrin, representatives of federal and regional legislative and government authorities as well as Russian and foreign investors and journalists became the members of the event.

Delegation of the Samara region was headed by Vice-Governor – Head of the Samara region Governor’s administration D.E. Ovchinnikov. The Delegation also included Minister of economic development, investments and trade of the Samara region A.V. Kobenko, Minister of Property Relations Y.P. Stepnova, Minister of Industry and Technologies S.A. Bezrukov, Presidentof Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara region V.P. Fomichev, heads of large enterprises and regional development institutions of the Samara region.

Opportunities provided by the Samara region to potential investors as well as innovations in the regional investment legislation aimed at increasing of investment attractiveness of the region were highlighted during the meeting. Moreover, the participants were presented with a number of investment projects.

The exposition presenting the information about the quality of investment portfolio of the Samara region and range of achievements in the most promising sectors of regional economy was available during the presentation.

At the end of the event a briefing was held where the participants of the presentation answered the questions of representatives of potential investors and the media.
