Meeting of the board of directors of Samara Region Development Corporation OJSC under the chairmanship of the Governor of the Samara region N.I. Merkushkin was held on February 19, 2013where the implementation of ongoing projects of Corporation was discussed and the list of new strategic investment projects was defined .Implementation of investment project on Kurumoch International Airport development is going ahead of schedule fixed by the agreement between the Corporation and “Kurumoch-Invest” CJSC (design documentation on a new passenger terminal of the airport is passed for state expert review.).
Construction of a modern complex for poultry meat (broiler) production and processing with the capacity of 50 000 tons per year in Sergievsky district of the Samara region will fulfill the needs of the region citizens in high quality poultry meat. That is why it will be of high importance for food security of the region and will comply with the relevant tasks in the field of agro-industrial complex facing the region and defined in the Governor’s Message to Samara regional Duma.
The beginning of construction works on the project is based on the end date of design documentation development and is scheduled for summer of 2013. At present, alteration of design documentation is on final stage (in a part of using solutions enabling to increase the capacity of a complex and in a part of using additional production sites), certain parts of this documentation have already undergone the state expert review or undergoing it now.
For the purpose of implementation of the tasks set by the Governor of the Samara region, the Corporation is now developing conceptual schemes on implementation of large investment projects of high significance for substantial social and economic development of the Samara region.
Thus, the Corporation has prepared preliminary proposals in the field of agro-industrial complex and has already started implementation of the project on establishing of two stock breeding complexes for 4800 cows of milking herd as well as on construction of dairy plant in Otradny town. Moreover, Corporation is now considering the possibility to participate together with the leader of champignon production - company “Oriks” - in construction of a new production complex.
Во исполнение поставленных Губернатором Самарской области задач, Корпорацией в настоящее время ведется разработка концептуальных схем реализации крупных инвестиционных проектов, имеющих важное значение для устойчивого социально-экономического развития Самарской области.
Totally new direction of the Corporation activity is the development of investment projects in the field of high technologies, that is: establishing of production of magnetically operated switches and other micro electromechanical systems; establishing of production of diode laser modules and laser machining systems. It seems that implementation of investment projects mentioned above will not only allow to use the high scientific potential of the region to the full extent but also to create new centers of competence (that, in prospect, may become the core of new clusters) in the field of microelectronics and laser industry.
The Governor noted the focus of presented projects to the increasing of the investment attractiveness of the Samara region and together with the members of board encouraged the Corporation activity on further development of the investment projects.
