The representatives of Samara Region Development Corporation took part in practical conference ‘Problems and opportunities of redevelopment in Russia’

On the 8th of September, 2016 the representatives of Samara Region Development Corporation took part in practical conference ‘Problems and opportunities of redevelopment in Russia’ that was organized by the Expert council of redevelopment in Russian Guild of Property Managers and Developers (GMD) with the consulting company REC (plenipotentiary office of GMD in Samara and Samara region).

Because of the lack of enough building sites and many projects those were initially implemented with conceptual mistakes or morally outdated, today the widespread practices of developers are reconception, renovation, redevelopment and other actions, related to the changes of separate objects and the whole territories. Most of the presentations were about actual cases, successful Russian and international experience. The successful and effective decisions for returning to the city usage of buildings and constructions are the design of the factory ‘Flakon’, ‘Danilovskaya Manufactory’, local redevelopment of Samara object ‘K90’ and many others.

The participants of the conference paid a very close attention on the discussions of the difficult issues of redevelopment. Developers, the top-managers of the largest companies – operators of different market segments of commercial, residential and industrial real estate, experts and consultants took part in the conference.
