Representatives of the Samara Region Development Corporation attended the 10th International Exhibition "Agrofarm-2016" and the VII Congress of the National Union of Milk Producers "Soyuzmoloko" on 20th of January, 2016.
"Agrofarm-2016" is one of the largest exhibitions of livestock and breeding business in Russia.
The exhibition presented over 360 exhibitors from Russia and 27 foreign countries, more than 12 000 visitors from 45 countries and 73 regions of Russia. For its 10 years of operation "Agrofarm" is truly considered as the center of the world's «know-how» in the field of animal husbandry. Prospective investment decisions are represented and current issues of the industry are discussed there. During the exhibition the results of 2015 were summarized and also there were outlined the prospects of future development of agricultural sector in the current economic environments. Most of the exhibition’s visitors are industry professionals who have the authority to make or influence on investment decisions.
Annually as a part of the exhibition comprehensive business and competitive program is organized with the participation of agricultural agencies representatives, leading foreign and national experts in the field of agribusiness. The exhibition is a showcase of the most advanced technologies and solutions for the production and processing of livestock products.
During this exhibition the VII Congress of the National Union of Milk Producers "Soyuzmoloko" was held and it was chaired by the Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev. Under the discussion the members of the National Union of Milk Producers paid a very close attention on the increase of subsidies to milk’s producers, as well as emphasized the positive dynamics in the industry support from the federal and regional budgets.
