Samara Region Development Corporation attracts foreign investments

19-20 October, 2015 Corporation hosted a delegation of representatives of the global agro-industrial company Charoen Pokphand Group (Thailand) and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RFPI) with the support of V.V. Altergot, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Samara region.

The delegation visited Borskiy, Kinelskiy, Kinel-Cherkasskiy and Sergievskiy districts.

The main focus of the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) is on the production of agricultural products. The plans of the foreign organization include the construction of mega dairy complex for milk production and processing on the territory of the Russian Federation. And the Samara Region is one of the potential areas for implementation of this project. During the visit there were presented the Corporation’s agricultural projects, Investment Opportunities of the Samara Region and the possible plots for future construction.
