Russian PPP Week

The largest event in Russia in the field of development of infrastructure and private public partnership – Russian PPP Week – will take place from 11 till 13 of March, 2014 in International Multimedia Center (IMC) RIA Novosti.

Organizers of the event are PPP Development Center together with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in association with Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation.

Aim of holding Russian PPP Week is to outspread the best practices of implementation of PPP projects in order to improve living standards of Russian Federation citizens.

Technical operator of the event is Communication agency specializing in the field of private public partnership P3 INFO.

Using of PPP mechanisms during implementation of infrastructure projects can remove budgetary limitations for state customers and provide a huge amount of possibilities for private companies in respect of their access to sectors of economy which are traditionally were state. But despite all these obvious advantages there are a lot of obstacles today that restrict a wide use of private public partnership in development of national infrastructure. Under these circumstances Russian PPP Week is a tool for forming the PPP projects market, appearing of new participants and overcoming the lack of relevant information in the field of development of Russian infrastructure.

Within the framework of business program of PPP Week a range of business events of different focus will be held:

• International development summit “IDEOLOGY OF PPP”
• Forum of city development “PPP IN A BIG CITY”
• National congress “PRIVATE PUBLIC PARTNERSHIP IN THE FIELD OF DEFENCE AND MAINTANENCE OF PUBLIC SECURITY”

In addition to it, an ambitious cultural program is planned. Representatives of Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, specialized ministries and departments of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council, State Duma, managers of banks and leading enterprises, representatives of expert community, scientific communities, public organizations, the media will take part in the events of PPP Week.
